Kazakhstan Plans to Increase Monthly Minimum Wage to KZT 110,000

On 28 October, President Tokayev instructed the government to increase the monthly minimum wage from KZT 85,000 to KZT 110,000 starting 1 January 2027, an increase of approximately 29.4%. The measure is expected to affect around 1.8 million people, including more than 370,000 public-sector employees, while primary healthcare specialists are also expected to receive salary increases of up to 40%.
