Lithuania’s Renewable Energy Project Sale Valued at US$28.4 Million
On 20 October, renewable-energy developer Evecon reported the sale of a ready-to-build hybrid energy project in Lithuania’s Marijampolė region to Israeli company Energix. The transaction was valued at €25.4 million, approximately US$28.4 million, with €7.7 million paid at closing and the remainder linked to technical-design milestones. The project combines approximately 220 MW of wind power, 60 MW of solar capacity and 286 MWh of energy storage. This is a completed project transaction rather than an acquisition of the entire developer.
